Woodwork replacement in Osijek Probation Office

Within the framework of the project „Strengthening human rights protection and public safety by improving the capacities of the Croatian probation service“ funded under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, construction has commenced in the Osijek Probation Office to entirely replace the deteriorated woodwork.

The work is conducted as part of the project activities for the upgrade of the material-technical working conditions in the probation offices, ensuring a more qualitative and safer work environment for probation officers. Most of the total project value of 2.1 million euros will be invested into the permanent implementation of electronic monitoring in the Republic of Croatia. In addition to the mentioned activities, during the three-year project numerous other activities will be conducted which aim to further strengthen and improve the work of the probation service.
