Under the project “Strengthening human rights protection and public safety by improving the capacities of the Croatian probation service”, co-financed under the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, video surveillance systems have been installed in the premises of probation offices.
Probation officers are in direct contact with offenders in their offices and on the ground, so the equipment installed will help them feel safer and contribute to their protection from potential unpredictable reactions of offenders, which could jeopardise their life and health.
