Under the project "Strengthening human rights protection and public safety by improving the capacities of the Croatian probation service", financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism, the first Regional Meeting of Probation Officers was held in Osijek on 2 February 2023. The meeting was attended by probation officers from Osijek Probation Office, Požega Probation Office and Vukovar Probation Office. The regional meeting of probation officers is one of the measures recommended on the basis of the results of research on the psychosocial climate and working environment in the probation service. The topic of the meeting was related to the presentation of project components and implemented activities, identification of key factors related to motivation and development of resources of the probation service, and the exchange of experience among probation officers from different probation offices. Probation officers expressed their satisfaction with the organisation of regional meetings and highlighted the importance of organising further meetings.
