Inmate visitation
- Visitation permits are issued at the entrance to the penitentiary
- An inmate has the right to 2 visits per month and an additional visit on holidays, for a duration of min. 1h
- Underage children of inmates (up to 16 years of age accompanied by only 1 adult, and from 16 to 18 years of age alone) can visit their parent every week and on holidays.

- Sundays and holidays
- Adult visitors - 08:30h - 11:00h
- Underage children - 11:00h - 12:00h
(visitor registration on workdays 12:00h to 13:00h)
Visits to pretrial detainees
- Visitation permits are issued by the competent court
- A pretrial detainee is entitled to 6 visits per month for a duration of min. 15 min.

Adult visitors
- Saturdays, Sundays and holidays
13:30h to 15:00h.
Underage children
- Saturdays, Sundays and holidays
13:00h to 13:30h.
Attorney visitation
- Mondays and Wednesdays
12:30h - 14:00h
Visits to juvenile pretrial detainees
- Visitation permits are issued by the competent court
- A juvenile pretrial detainee has the right to 10 visits per month for a duration of min. 30 min.
Visitation schedule
- Saturdays, Sundays and holidays - 12:30h - 13:00h
(visitor registration on workdays from 16:00h to 17:00h)
Money
A person deprived of liberty may receive money from family members and third persons (or send it to them) via the Prison Hospital by:- postal payment to the address: Zatvorska bolnica u Zagrebu, Svetošimunska 107, 10000 Zagreb, with an indication of the inmate’s full name
- bank transfer to IBAN: HR3523900011300000710, model: HR99, with an indication of the inmate’s full name
- international transfer to IBAN: HR3523900011300000710, SWIFT: HPBZHR2X, with an indication of the inmate’s full name.
Parcels
Parcels for inmates can be sent by post to the address of the Prison Hospital.The sender must attach a list of contents of the parcel by type and quantity to the outside of the parcel along with the full name of the inmate for whom the parcel is intended.
Parcels that cannot be inspected or exceed the maximum weight limit will not be received.
Convicts (crimes and misdemeanours):
- are entitled to receive a parcel containing permitted items, weighing up to 7 kg, once a month and for holidays.
Detainees (crimes and misdemeanours):
- in accordance with Article 23 of the Ordinance on house rules in prisons accomodating preventive detainees, detainees may receive a parcel containing permitted items, weighing up to 5 kg, once a week.
