Parcels and money

Family members or third parties who wish to transfer money to inmates of the Glina Penitentiary can do so by postal payment to the address of the Glina Penitentiary: Kaznionica u Glini, Vinogradska 2, 44400 Glina, with an indication of the surname and name of the inmate for whom the money is intended, or by bank transfer to IBAN: HR2023900011300000689. Enter the inmate ID number in the reference number field, and the name and surname of the prisoner in the payment description field. For international payments, enter BIC: HPBZHR2X.

*Inmate ID number is a five-digit number under which an inmate is registered for the use of the telephone and canteen. For information on an inmate ID number, please call +38544514327.

Parcel reception

Once a month and for holidays, an inmate is entitled to receive a parcel with permitted items from the House Rules. A holiday parcel is a parcel delivered to the post office or during visitation five days before and two days after a holiday.
The maximum weight limit for parcels is 7 kg.
Parcels must not contain food or tobacco products.
Parcels are received by post on workdays, and, upon inspection, are handed over to prisoners. Parcels that cannot be inspected or exceed the weight limit of 7 kg will not be received.
