Visits to convicts

• enabled in accordance with the Execution of Prison Sentence Act twice a month and on holidays, and for underage children once a week and on holidays.
• visits (of both adults and children) take place: WEDNESDAYS from 8:00h to 13:00h and on first and third SUNDAY of the month and on HOLIDAYS from 8:00h to 13:00h (underage children of inmates have priority for visits from 8:00h to10:00h).

Visits to adult detainees

• enabled in accordance with the Ordinance on house rules in prisons accomodating preventive detainees, 6 visits per month, 2 of which on weekends or holidays.
• visits (of both adults and children) take place: TUESDAYS from 8:00h to 13:00h and on first and third SUNDAY of the month from 8:00h to 13:00h (underage children of inmates have priority for visits from 8:00h to10:00h).

Visits to juvenile detainees

• enabled in accordance with the Ordinance on house rules in prisons accomodating preventive detainees, 10 visits per month, on TUESDAYS from 8:00h to 13:00h​, WEDNESDAYS from 8:00h to 13:00h and first and third SUNDAY of the month from 8:00h to 13:00h

Attorney visitation

• on workdays, 08:30h - 12:00h and 13:00h - 16:00h

Parcel reception

Parcels for persons deprived of liberty are received during visitation. The visitor must present their ID card and a list of contents of the parcel. Parcel reception can be organised every workday upon prior arrangement.
Items and parcels can also be sent by post to the address of the Varaždin Prison, whereby a list of the contents must be attached to the parcel.
All items and parcels are inspected, and any items that cannot be inspected will not be received.

Payments to inmates can be made by:
