In the Bjelovar Prison, visits need to be announced by telephone at +38543247375 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 11:00h to 13:00h. A visit can also be requested by e-mail at: posjetezbj@zbj.pravosudje.hr, and a reply can be expected during the time slots reserved for telephone announcements.

Money deposits

Money can be sent to persons deprived of liberty by postal payment to the address of the Prison in Bjelovar, with the indication of the inmate’s full name,
or by bank transfer to IBAN: HR8723900011300000162, opened at Hrvatska poštanska banka d.d., with a mandatory indication of who the payment is made for. For international payments, be sure to enter SWIFT: HPBZHRXX.

Money is not received directly at the Prison.
 
 

Parcel reception

Parcels for persons deprived of liberty are received on workdays (Monday to Friday) from 8:00h to 16:00h and during visitation subject to the presentation of the visitor’s ID card and a mandatory list of contents of the parcel. Parcels can also be sent by post to the Bjelovar Prison, whereby it is necessary to indicate the inmate’s full name and attach a list of contents of the parcel to the outside of the parcel.

Parcels may contain clothes, footwear and bed linen. The parcel and items in it are inspected, and any items that cannot be inspected will not be received.
Tobacco and food products and technical devices are not allowed.
 

Telephone

Persons deprived of liberty cannot receive telephone calls. They may make telephone calls from the Prison according to approved telephone numbers.
