VR scenarios for probationers completed

A meeting of project partners was held in Mannheim from 11 to 13 June 2025 under the project ‘Virtual Reality - a tool in the treatment of criminal offenders and training of probation officers’.

During the meeting, the partners tested, refined and finalised virtual reality scenarios intended for treatment work with probationers. They finalised four scenarios focused on problem solving, recognised as one of the most common criminogenic features encountered in the work with probationers.
By using VR technology, probation officers can show probationers different problem situations in which they have the opportunity to practice and adopt positive problem-solving techniques in a safe and controlled environment.
