Presentations of VR training content for probation and prison officers
On 21 and 23 April 2026, presentations of VR-based training content were held for probation and prison officers
During the presentations, VR training modules aimed at the development of core treatment skills were presented, including:
- prosocial modelling
- problem solving
- motivational interview
- cognitive-behavioural interventions
Within these thematic areas, a total of 8 interactive scenarios have been developed to enable officers to learn and practice professional skills in a safe and realistic simulated environment.
By using VR technology, participants had the opportunity to actively participate in simulations of everyday situations from practice, which further improves the quality of training and strengthens the competencies needed for effective work in the probation and prison system.
