Training for prison and probation officers on VR use in offender rehabilitation

The training was held in Zagreb on 16 October 2025 for prison and probation officers who will use the VR materials in offender rehabilitation

Eleven officers of the probation and prison system participated in the training on the practical application of VR in working with probationers or persons deprived of liberty. The training was delivered in the premises of the Training Centre by members of the Croatian project team Vesna Zelić Ferenčić, Marjan Lukavečki and Martina Rakić, and a representative of Becure Alihan Salman, while Prof. Ioan Durnescu joined the training online, with a presentation of theoretical problem-solving skills.

Participants expressed great satisfaction with the training and look forward to applying VR in offender rehabilitation as soon as possible.
