Slovenian part of the Pilot Programme implemented

Under the ERASMUS+ project "First IN - Then OUT", another important project activity was successfully implemented on 3-4 February 2025, ahead of the final conference.

After a very successful implementation of the first part of the Pilot Programme in Zagreb in December 2024, participants in the Slovenian Pilot Programme had the opportunity to improve their knowledge, skills and competences on sustainability and the future prospects of introducing sustainable principles and the green transition in the prison systems of both partner countries (SLO and HR).

Sustainable behaviour is crucial for the long-term preservation of resources, environmental stability and improvement of the quality of life of current and future generations, and the goal of this project is primarily to integrate models and tools as well as sustainable practices into work routines or daily behaviour of, first of all, all employees who are in direct contact with prisoners, and ultimately also of prisoners both during the serving of sentence and after release. 

The official Final Conference with the presentations of main outputs of this project will be held on 11 February 2025 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
