Strengthening the capacity for coordinating digital projects in the public administration of the Republic of Croatia

Main objective

Acquisition of practical knowledge and examples of good practice in the field of coordination, preparation and management of digital projects in public administration, and encouraging the active participation of civil servants in the process of digital transformation of Croatia.

Specific objectives of the project
  1. Strengthening the capacity of civil servants of the Directorate for the Development of Digital Society and Strategic Management of the Ministry of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation (MoJPA) through systematic exchange of best practices and experiences with other EU Member States, with special emphasis on the coordination, preparation and management of digital projects in public administration.
  2. Improving the process of prioritisation of digital projects and inter-institutional coordination, as well as the system of project monitoring, reporting and evaluation, through the application of models and tools that have proven successful in other EU Member States.
  3. Research and analysis of best practices of other EU Member States with the aim of encouraging the active participation of civil servants in the preparation and implementation of digital projects, including incentive and motivation mechanisms and continuous professional development.
