The project "Virtual reality - a tool in the treatment of criminal offenders and training of probation officers" can be divided into three work packages: (1) activities to create digital content and include VR in treatment work with offenders, (2) activities to create educational digital content for officials and training of officials on the use of the digital tools, and (3) activities aimed at networking international experts from different fields who can use VR in their work with offenders.

Project objectives:
- Improvement of the correctional treatment of offenders by incorporating digital content;
- Improvement of the key competencies of officials;
- Development of interdepartmental and international stakeholder network for further development of VR use in correctional treatment;
- The above objectives are part of the general objective of social reintegration of offenders, reduction of the risk of recidivism and protection of the community.
