Trainings held under the project "Development of a Public Administration Competency Framework"
Trainings for trainers were held at the State School of Public Administration from 28 April to 6 May, which marked the beginning of training activities for the employees of public administration bodies under the project "Development of a public administration competency framework".
The project worth HRK 13,092,015.91 is financed under the European Social Fund. The objective of the trainings of trainers is to establish a trainers network that will support all public administration bodies during the process of introducing a competency model.
A theoretical introduction to competency management was presented at the trainings. The participants were introduced to various elements of competencies and to the simulation of the approach to the use of competencies proposed by the competency model for the purpose of planning human resources in public administration.
Special emphasis was placed on the methodology of teaching this content to ensure that future trainers are capable of delivering trainings independently upon completion of the project.
A total of 17 future trainers from different public administration bodies participated in the trainings. They will continue to develop their training skills by participating in the preparation and delivery of further trainings under this project, intended for the managers of organisational units in public administration bodies (Module A) and employees of HR management units (Module B).
Applications for both modules are still open, and all interested parties from the relevant target groups can contact us at kompetencije@mpu.hr
The project is co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund.
