Conference under the project “Further digitalistion of land registry in the Republic of Croatia”
The first ceremonial conference under the project “Further digitalization of land registry in the Republic of Croatia” took place at the Academia Hotel in Zagreb on 27 April 2022.
The grant agreement was signed on 13 December 2018, with an estimated duration of 53 months. The project is co-financed from the European Social Fund through the Operational Programme Efficient Human Resources 2014-2020, with a total value of HRK 37,887,200.00.The general objective of the project is to improve the quality of land registry administration by digitalising the manually kept land registers, which will contribute to increasing efficiency and speeding up business processes in land registry departments.
The target group is the staff of the judicial bodies of the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration.
The framework agreement on the scanning services between the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration and the Community of Bidders Mikrocop d.o.o. and Verox d.o.o. was signed in January 2020 with an implementation deadline of 36 months. The implementation of scanning activities started in April 2020 with the signature of the first one-year contract, and the third individual contract is currently being implemented. The project plans to scan 30 million pages of land registers, and so far a total of 20,710,795 pages have been scanned, which is 69.04 % of the envisaged scope.
Guests at the ceremony were addressed by Mr Josip SALAPIĆ, State Secretary at the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration, Mr Dragan Jelić, State Secretary at the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy, and Mr Ante Džapo, Assistant Director of the Croatian Employment Service.
The progress of the project so far was presented by Ms Jasna Vujnović on behalf of the bidding consortium of Mikrocop d.o.o. and Verox d.o.o. and Ms Erika Kaloćira Reljić on behalf of the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration.
The project is co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund.
