Marriage is concluded by the exchange of consent between a woman and a man. 

In Croatia, marriage can be concluded in: 
  • civil form (wedding ceremony performed by a registrar),
  • religious form with the effects of a civil marriage (wedding ceremony performed by a minister of a religious community which has regulated legal relations with the Republic of Croatia).

The service enables online submission of the notice of intent to enter into marriage in civil form, reservation of date and location within or outside official premises, and online payment of administrative fees.
