Handover ceremony

The handover between incoming Minister of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation Damir Habijan, outgoing Minister of Justice and Public Administration Ivan Malenica and State Secretary of the Central Office for Digital Society Development Bernard Gršić took place on 20 May.

“I would like to thank my predecessors for their work so far. I am sure many challenges lie ahead of us. When it comes to justice, the priority will be to speed up court proceedings, especially criminal proceedings. Our goal is to improve public administration and centralise digitalisation processes”, said Minister Habijan.

With the entry into force of the Act on Amendments to the Act on the Organisation and Scope of State Administration Bodies, the Ministry of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation took over the functions, equipment, archives and other documentation, resources, finances, rights and obligations of the former Central State Office for the Development of Digital Society in accordance with the organisation and scope prescribed by this Act, as well as its staff.
