The Ministry of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation issues data from the misdemeanour records to a natural or legal person who can prove they require the data for the purpose of realising a right abroad. The certificates are issued in Croatian only.
A certificate from the misdemeanour records can be requested by a written and justified application, supported by a certified translation of the specific regulation or request of a foreign authority stipulating the need for a certificate from the records.
To obtain the certificate, a
natural person must:
- fill out Form No. 5 - Application form for data from the Misdemeanour Records for a natural person to realise rights abroad (available under Documents),
- enclose a photocopy of a valid personal ID card or passport.
To obtain the certificate, a
legal person must:
- fill out Form No. 6 - Application form for data from the Misdemeanour Records for a legal person to realise rights abroad (available under Documents).
An application for a certificate from the misdemeanour records can be submitted to the Misdemeanour Records Department of the Ministry Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. or sent by post to the following address: Ministarstvo pravosuđa, uprave i digitalne transformacije, Odjel za prekršajne evidencije, Ulica grada Vukovara 49, Zagreb.
If you submit the application in person or through an attorney-in-fact, the certificate will be issued that same day.
