Visit of European Chief Prosecutor Kövesi

On 21 October 2024, Minister of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation Damir Habijan received European Chief Prosecutor Laura Codruța Kövesi

Minister Habijan and European Chief Prosecutor Kövesi discussed past as well as future cooperation with the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) and the work and organisation of the European Public Prosecutor's Office itself as an independent body of the European Union responsible for investigating, prosecuting and bringing to judgment crimes affecting the financial interests of the EU.

State Secretary Ivan Crnčec participated in the meeting on the part of the Ministry, while the European Chief Prosecutor was accompanied by Tamara Laptoš, European Prosecutor from Croatia.
