State Secretary Bahović at Council for Telecommunications in Cyprus

State Secretary Fadila Bahović participated in the informal meeting of the Council for Telecommunications in Cyprus, where she met Nicodemus Damianou, Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy of the Republic of Cyprus 

The purpose of the Council is to bring together EU ministers responsible for the digital policy and the European Commission to discuss, exchange views and coordinate current and emerging issues in the digital and cyber sectors, with a view to advancing the European Digital Agenda.
 
The participants exchanged views on current and emerging issues shaping the European digital and security agendas, including discussions on accelerating the widespread uptake of trustworthy AI, strengthening the protection of minors in the digital environment and increasing the resilience of Europe’s critical infrastructure.
