OOTS platform – Croatia among top EU countries in implementation of SDG Regulation
The Republic of Croatia has continued the successful implementation of the SDG Regulation. This is reflected in the progress on the Once-Only Technical System Acceleratormeter, a scale measuring the level of readiness and completion.
After Projectathon #6 held in June 2025, the Croatian OOTS platform received confirmation from the European Commission that it meets the criteria for transitioning to the highest level of Acceleratormeter, level 6. This level indicates the highest technical readiness for end-user transactions within the European Union. Croatia thus positioned itself among the leading countries in the EU digital agenda and thus confirmed the successful long-term implementation of the SDG Regulation. For citizens and businesses, this means that they can exchange data (evidence) securely and reliably across borders, and that it needs to be provided to public administrations only once (Once-Only), significantly reducing the bureaucratic effort.
Reaching level 6 in the development of OOTS means that the services are "ready to be rolled out and used by citizens and/or businesses". The system is fully configured and connected, ready for use for cross-border administrative needs.
More information on available services and evidence (certificates, diplomas, etc.) can be found at the official site of electronic cross-border services of the Republic of Croatia.
