Minister Habijan visits Justice Square construction site
On Thursday, 16 October, Minister of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation Damir Habijan visited the construction site of the Justice Square in Zagreb - the largest judicial infrastructure project in the modern history of Croatia
During the visit, Minister Habijan, together with associates and representatives of contractors, expert supervision and designers, carried out regular status coordination in the first phase of the project.Works are progressing according to plan, and the Minister expressed his satisfaction with the results so far.
The project will change the judiciary because it will bring the Zagreb Commercial Court, the High Commercial Court of the Republic of Croatia, the Zagreb Administrative Court, the High Administrative Court of the Republic of Croatia, the Judicial Academy and the Centre for Peaceful Settlement of Disputes together in one place. The project will also ensure better working conditions and changes in the judiciary that will contribute to better performance of courts.
The funds for the first phase of this project are provided through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021-2026, under Component C2.5 Modern justice fit for future challenges.
