Minister Habijan meets with representatives of Mastercard Europe

On Wednesday 11 March 2026, Minister of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation Damir Habijan met with representatives of Mastercard Europe, led by Hendrik Bourgeois, Senior Vice President for Government Affairs and Policy Europe

The topic of the meeting was digital transformation of public administration and further development of digital public services.

It was pointed out that Croatia was among the most digitally developed Member States of the European Union and among the leaders in the level of interoperability of digital services between Member States.

Key e-government projects were also presented, including eCitizens - a central digital access point to government services, used by more than 2.2 million citizens and currently offering more than 120 e-services.

The future development of the mCitizens mobile application and the introduction of new e-services for citizens were also discussed.
