Inaugural visit of US Ambassador

Minister of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation Damir Habijan received the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Republic of Croatia, H.E. Nicole McGraw, on an inaugural visit today

During the meeting, the possibility of further improvement of joint cooperation in the field of justice was discussed, and the Ambassador expressed her support for the formal accession of Croatia to the OECD.

The topics discussed included the Three Seas Initiative, the current activities of the Ministry of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation with a focus on the digitalisation of justice and artificial intelligence, and regional cooperation.

Both sides expressed their gratitude for the cooperation and mutual support so far, and readiness to further develop and strengthen bilateral relations in the field of justice, public administration and digital transformation, especially in the field of AI development and deployment and digital transformation with an emphasis on the development of new data centers in Croatia.
