Inaugural visit of H.E. Mr. Simon Derek Thomas, British Ambassador to Croatia

On Monday 23 August 2021, Minister of Justice and Public Administration Mr. Ivan Malenica received an inaugural visit from H. E. Mr Simon Derek Thomas, Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Croatia.
 

The topics discussed at the meeting included the current reform processes in the field of justice and public administration, work organisation during the COVID-19 pandemic, the new Multiannual Financial Framework and the continued digitalisation of processes in public administration and judiciary.
 
They also discussed the development of the Anti-Corruption Strategy for the next decade. Minister Malenica emphasized that the new Strategy will focus on the prevention of corruption.

Minister Malenica and Ambassador Thomas expressed their satisfaction with the bilateral cooperation in the field of justice and public administration so far, and their readiness for its continued strengthening.
