Inaugural visit of Ambassador of the Republic of Albania

On Friday 7 November 2025, Minister of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation Damir Habijan received an inaugural visit from the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of Croatia, H.E. Donika Hoxha 

The topics of the meeting were opportunities for the further enhancement of cooperation in the field of justice, and support to the Republic of Albania on its path to EU membership.
 
The Croatian side expressed its readiness and openness for future cooperation in knowledge transfer and exchange of experience in the field of reform of justice, public administration and digital transformation in the accession negotiations, especially in the area covered by Chapter 23 - Judiciary and fundamental rights, as well as the possibility of joint participation in EU funded projects in Albania’s pre-accession period. 
 
Both sides expressed their readiness to strengthen bilateral relations in the areas of justice, public administration and digital transformation, especially taking into account Albania’s official EU candidate status.
