Caution: Fake e-Citizens website spotted

We would like to warn citizens of the existence of a scam website impersonating the official e-Citizens portal for electronic services of the Republic of Croatia.

Scam websites mimic the appearance and content of official websites and can look very convincing, but their purpose is to get users to enter their personal information, including usernames, passwords or ID card information.

This time, a fake link hxxps://prijava-nias.com has been spotted, which leads to a fake e-Citizens website and asks for personal and financial information from banking users.

We urge all citizens to be vigilant and in no case to enter their data on suspicious websites.

The only official e-Citizens URL is: www.gov.hr.

The e-Citizens system never requests personal information via email, text messages or unofficial websites.
