2024 OECD Global Roundtable on Equal Access to Justice held in Ottawa

State Secretary Ivan Crnčec participated in a two-day OECD Roundtable entitled "Reimagining justice: building trust through people-centred justice"

The Global Roundtable was held on 9-10 October 2024 in Ottawa, Canada, organised by the OECD.
 
State Secretary Crnčec participated in a high-level dialogue on people-centred justice and the rule of law as a way to strengthen democracy and build trust.
 
On this occasion, a delegation of the Ministry of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation headed by State Secretary Crnčec also held bilateral meetings with Michael Sousa, Senior Assistant Deputy Minister of the Policy Sector at Justice Canada and Catherine Jobin, Assistant Deputy Minister of Strategic Policy at Global Affairs Canada. The topic of the meetings and exchanges was the process of accession of Croatia to the OECD and activities in the accession process, especially in the field of justice.
