At today's session of the Government, Minister Habijan presented a Proposal of the Conclusion on the acceptance of the Report on the Implementation of the Action Plan 2022- 2024 accompanying the Anti-Corruption Strategy 2021- 2030

The Action Plan envisages a total of 206 activities that the competent authorities are obliged to implement. 

"It is important to emphasize that, 91% of those 206 activities have been completed", said Minister Damir Habijan.

The Minister highlighted some of the activities, such as a uniform database of registered media in Croatia with data on ownership structure and sources of finance, an application for conducting tenders for the lease and sale of state-owned agricultural land, the introduction of exclusively cashless collection of fines at the scene of the offence.

"It includes a number of legislative amendments, to the State Judicial Council Act, the State Attorneys’ Council Act, the Courts Act and the Lobbying Act, among others", the Minister added.

A national awareness-raising campaign on the harmfulness of corruption as well as numerous trainings and other awareness-raising events in the area of anti-corruption have been carried out.
