As part of the project "Strengthening the capacity and visibility of the prison and probation systems", 17 Norwegian and Croatian officers participated in a Training of Trainers in Trakošćan on 21-23 January 2025
During these three days and two additional online meetings, participants acquired knowledge and practiced the necessary skills to further transfer knowledge to their colleagues in the field of core correctional skills for work with criminal offenders. With this activity, we contribute to the sustainability of project results by ensuring the possibility of independent training on the backbone of the rehabilitation work of the probation service.
Participants were extremely satisfied with the ToT, especially its practical part. They emphasised the opportunity to learn and exchange ideas with colleagues, and jointly plan and create educational content as an added value of the training.
