The event brought together leading experts from the public and private sectors, and Nikola Modrušan, Director General for the Development of National Information Infrastructure and Electronic Services, also participated in the discussion on the future of digital infrastructure.
The discussion at the event highlighted that digital capabilities are no longer just a driver of economic growth, but a cornerstone of national resilience, security and global competitiveness.
It was stressed that targeted investments in artificial intelligence (AI), cloud solutions and interoperable systems were necessary for modernising public administration, strengthening critical infrastructure and attracting new investments to the region.
One of the main takeaways of the event was the need for the transformation of the Three Seas region from a "digital transit route" to a "digital added-value zone". This is to be achieved through the development of local innovation systems and the continuation of strong transatlantic cooperation in the technological field.
The participation of Director General Modrušan at the 3SI Forum reaffirms Croatia's strategic orientation towards digital transformation, which has been recognised as a priority for ensuring long-term stability and a modern system of electronic services for citizens and entrepreneurs.
