Justice Programme 2014-2020
Beneficiary: Ministry of Justice and Public Administration
Objective: Strengthening of the national network of contact points for the EJN (European Judicial Network). The methodology planned in the project is mainly training oriented, practical and interactive.
The project will include the following activities:
- Three meetings of national contact points and practitioners in the field of judicial cooperation in criminal matters
The meetings will serve to exchange best practices and identify problems in everyday work.
Workshops will be organised for judges or prosecutors (including EJN contact points) with topics identified as most relevant for practitioners in the field of judicial cooperation in criminal matters.
- The Fiches Belges section of the EJN website will be updated.
Fiches Belges is a tool on the EJN website that provides practical information on certain types of measures covered by judicial cooperation in criminal matters.
- An EJN Website User Manual will be developed.
The EJN website is one of the most important and most visited portals in the area of judicial cooperation in criminal matters. In order to make it easier for practitioners to navigate the site, a short user manual is planned, with a special section dedicated to EJN contact points.
- An English language course will be delivered.
The aim of the course is to improve the English language of judges and prosecutors, specifically the language and professional terminology used in the field of judicial cooperation in criminal matters.
