On 7 April, State Secretary Juro Martinović received a delegation of the Commission for European Affairs of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, headed by President Arber Ademi.
The main topic of the meeting was the exchange of experiences in aligning the national legislation with the EU acquis.
The State Secretary expressed his full support to the Republic of North Macedonia on its path to the European Union, both on political level and through expert cooperation and exchange of experience and know-how.
An excellent cooperation between the two ministries is maintained through regular meetings and projects involving the judicial officers of the Republic of Croatia, with the aim of building the rule of law and improving the efficiency of the judiciary in North Macedonia.
The Macedonian side expressed the importance of the support provided by Croatia and further emphasized the readiness of North Macedonia to deepen the cooperation through the exchange of experiences, especially in the field of implementation of judicial legislation and harmonisation of the judicial system with European standards.
The meeting was part of the official visit of the Commission for European Affairs of the Assembly of North Macedonia to Croatia.
