Study visit 21-26 November 2021, Oslo, Kingdom of Norway

The study visit of the representatives of the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration to Norway was organized under the project "Reconstruction of Split Municipal Court building and promotion of e-services", co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021. The visit took place in the context of a project activity that includes the preparation of recommendations by Norwegian experts to improve existing judicial e-services in the Republic of Croatia and introduce new ones.

The main topics of the study visit were digitalisation, simplification, innovation and de-identification of court decisions. The purpose of the study visit was to exchange experiences in the implementation of e-services with the representatives of Norwegian government agencies in charge of maintaining various electronic registers and the representatives of the Norwegian Courts Administration, as well as new solutions for simplification and faster flow of information as well as official interaction with citizens.

During the visit, participants were introduced to the Norwegian justice system and participated in meetings, interactive presentations and discussions with the representatives of the Legal Tech Department of the Faculty of Law, University of Oslo who are preparing recommendations for improving existing and introducing new judicial e-services in Croatia.

The total value of the project “Reconstruction of Split Municipal Court building and promotion of e-services” is HRK 74,625,000.00, and its main objective is to raise the efficiency and effectiveness of the justice system.
