Inaugural visit of Ambassador of Austria

Minister of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation Damir Habijan received the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to the Republic of Croatia, H.E. Yvonne Tončić-Sorinj

During the meeting, the current activities of the Ministry of Justice, Public Administration and Digital Transformation were discussed, with a special emphasis on the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the possibilities of further improving cooperation in the field of justice, especially through joint cooperation on European projects in the region.

Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation and mutual support so far and confirmed their readiness to further strengthen bilateral relations in the areas of justice, public administration and digital transformation. Special emphasis was placed on cooperation in the areas of criminal and civil law, the prison system and probation, and the continuation of the digitalisation process in these areas of common interest.
