Conference 'Cross-Border Cooperation and Mutual Assistance: The Strengthening of Cooperation to Counter Transnational Crimes'

State Secretary Ivan Crnčec attended the informal conference of the ministers of justice of the Council of Europe member states 

Under the Malta Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, an informal conference entitled ‘Cross-Border Cooperation and Mutual Assistance: The Strengthening of Cooperation to Counter Transnational Crimes' was held in Malta, attended by high-level officials of the Council of Europe member states.
 
The participants exchanged experiences on challenges in cross-border cooperation to combat transnational crime, with a particular focus on the use of technology and the contribution of digitalisation to strengthening cross-border cooperation.
 
At the end of the conference, a declaration was adopted on cross-border cooperation and mutual assistance in countering transnational crime.
